However, it may well be that in some countries the scales are not supported. But in Germany it is supported definitely.
The Samsung S Health App has a new version, the ANT + scales are again supported. The smartLAB scales support ANT + and Bluetooth Smart protocols and thus the devices via ANT + and the S Health app can then be connected now. The scales are not directly listed but you can search for it.
Since the S Health App supported no body analysis values, we recommend that you integrate only the smartLABscale W with S Health App.
This works as follows:
Go on your accessories on the S Health app and scan the ANT + devices. Then tap short on the scale so that the scale turns on and the W sign starts flashing. Here then the S Health app a balance will be found beginning with the name WS-xxxxx. Please register this scale.
If you want to transfer data, you must click on the dashboard of the S-Health and then select weight training. Then you can perform a measurement with the scale. You can do this by standing on the scales and wait until the display flashes briefly. The values are then transmitted.
Please note that although the balance has an internal clock and a memory, it is not supported by the S Health app. The S Health app cannot set the clock on the scales. That’s not part of the ANT protocol but this is an Add Value function that works properly only with HMM Apps. Also, the memory is not supported by the S Health app. Profiles on the scale are not relevant here. That is, no matter what users have chosen it, the values are transmitted to the S Health app.
You can find more information about the smartLAB scale W here.
